Chic Interview with Bollare's Alle Fister

Alle Fister is the Principal of Bollare Communications, a fashion and lifestyle public relations firm.

At age 29, she has accomplished much more than many women twice her age and we wanted to know exactly what got her to where she is today. Here’s what we found out…

In college, Alle interned all over the fashion world and found that she really enjoyed PR. When she was a senior in college, she reached out to ShopBop and was hired on as the firm’s in house Publicist and moved from Malibu to Madison, WI. Fister quickly gained a reputation for being on point with recognizing key trends and began to contribute expert interviews and content with publications such as Lucky, Glamour, and US Weekly as well as on air segments with networks such as CBS, MTV, VH1 and E!. 6 years later, when Amazon purchased the company, Alle decided to take a leap and created her own firm. The newly purchased ShopBop became Bollare’s first client. Bollare now has over 70 clients and has worked with organizations such as A.B.S, French Connection, Hanes, Hurley, GILT GROUPE and Shopbop. With offices in New York and Los Angeles, Bollare now has 20 employees and appears to have a very bright future.
In running her organization Alle makes sure that she and her employees set clear goals so they can celebrate their successes. She says the hardest thing is figuring out what you want to do, not how to do it.
Alle says one of the things she wishes someone had told her when she was first starting out is that no one knows it all. Starting a business is not as hard as it sounds, you just have to do it.
We can expect to see Bollare continue to grow their client list while remaining authentic to their brand. Alle believes in hiring employees that are also true to the brand and seeks out smart, fashionable young women to be representatives of the Bollare brand.
