How To Write a Business Plan

Writing a business plan is a definite must when you want to start a business, you wouldn’t build a house without a plan, right? Same goes for your business, no matter how big or small. The act of writing your business plan will create structure for implementation, keep you organized and help you solve obstacles before they arise. John Wooden said, “If you don’t have time to do it right, when will you have time to do it over?” Creating a plan will not only save you time, but save you money down the road. Before you write your business plan, you need to ask yourself this yes or no question: Am I going to be finding investors or get a bank loan to fund my business? If the answer is yes, you will need to write a comprehensive and detailed business plan. If the answer is no and you plan to bootstrap, you will most likely need to create a one to two page business plan.

We’ve provided the outlines you need to get started on your business plan.
