The Right Time

When is it the "Right Time" to start your business?
As we head into the new year, it seems that a lot of new things get started around this time. New eating plans, new resolutions, new workout routines... and a lot of things that we let go of as well. But is the beginning of the year a good time to start a business?
We think it is.

Getting started at the beginning of the year is a great way to launch. It's up to you if you have your accounting system set on the calendar year or a fiscal year of your choosing, but for a small business - a calendar year is an easy way to keep organized. In addition to that, typically right after the holidays is a slow time - so it's a great space to get your ducks in a row.
Another great reason to get started at the beginning of the year is the general buzz and excitement of getting a new year started! This excitement over starting anew can be used to your advantage. Channel this buzz and new energy into creating your new business - use it to get really creative about the problem you are solving and the purpose of your new endeavor.
2013 is going to be a great year for entrepreneurs - especially female entrepreneurs. Incubators, accelerators, angel investors, etc., they all are looking to women to get innovative, impactful businesses started this year.
So use this bit of down time, use the renewed energy and the resources available to you to get that amazing business started this year! We're here to help.
