Chic CEO and NAWBO Announce Partnership
National nonprofit collaborates to propel female entrepreneurs
SAN DIEGO – Feb. 18, 2013 – Chic CEO, a free, online, educational resource for current and aspiring female entrepreneurs and The National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), today announced their partnership, which will benefit women entrepreneurs across the country.
NAWBO is a non-profit organization of more than 8,000 members that represents women business owners across all industries. Since 1975, NAWBO has helped women evolve their businesses by sharing resources and providing a single voice to shape economic and public policy.
“Aligning Chic CEO with NAWBO couldn’t be a more exciting partnership,” said Stephanie Burns, founder of Chic CEO. “NAWBO is a highly regarded organization echoing the same visions of supporting female entrepreneurship. By combining our efforts we hope to extend our resources and offerings to more women across the country, not only helping them launch a company, but to become leaders in their communities as well.”
NAWBO’s mission is to propel women entrepreneurs into social or political spheres of power. Complimentary, Chic CEO advises and promotes female entrepreneurship through online tools and resources, turning barriers into action.
“At NAWBO, we are excited to work with an organization that was created to support the next generation of women entrepreneurs—a growing part of NAWBO’s membership and the business community. These entrepreneurs have tremendous ideas and enthusiasm to bring to the table that are integral to the future of women-owned and small businesses,” NAWBO stated in an announcement.
This partnership enables Chic CEO to reach a broader community of women entrepreneurs who actively seek tools to support their company goals and personal success.
